About The Ogene Newspaper



                                                  ABOUT THE OGENE  NEWSPAPER





The Ogene Newspaper is one of the soon to be launched community papers in Nigeria. Our immediate community and our area of coverage is the entire towns that make up the old Aguata Local Government Area (L.G.A) in Anambra State, Nigeria.


We're out to promote community journalism in Nigeria, and make it to be more vibrant. Its Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Success Kanayo Uchime, a native of Ndikelionwu, Orumba North Local Government Area, is a seasoned journalist with many years of experience and training.

4. We are to be locally oriented, by producing professional news coverage that typically focuses on our neighborhoods, individual small towns village, rather than metropolitan state, national or world news.
5. We will promote transparent grassroots - journalism that will give  our community a     voice to be heard.
